Kadmon

A young adult novel about aliens, witches, vampires, angels, gender, sibling rivalry, religion, the muli-verse, coming-of-age, and none of the above! You can find the links to obtain copies of Kadmon and the Magic of Lo series on my GoodReads page.

Kadmon is my YA novel and an ode to the spiritual confusion of living in a supernatural world with agreed upon norms for what is and isn’t natural.
You can purchase these books through Amazon, or Barnes and Noble or through me during an author’s event. The book publishers tend to steal the money – by allowing others to steal the books and sell them so I don’t get any kind of royalties. But, hey, I still want you to read them.

What to Wear to the Revolution
What to Wear to the Revolution was supposed to be near-future post-apocalyptic feminist science fiction in a time when everything that could go wrong in the world, went wrong all at the same time.
I think I nailed the novel part – it is revealing of the human condition in the way every novel should be, with character and relationship development, and insights into the mother-daughter dynamics. It was meant to be truth, but not true. Unfortunately, I got that part incorrect. It is my perspective, obviously, because I am a bit of a sexist – not quite Misandry or Marianismo, but a little more radical than mere feminism. I believe 100% in the brilliance of perfectly-flawed women, and how dangerous they can be when they decide things should change. I didn’t make up the “perfectly-flawed” remark – that was a reviewer’s words, but I loved it.
I’m terribly proud of the work, even if what I thought I was making up was far-fetched. Guess again! It isn’t fiction so much as it was prophecy, and while it might be post-apocalyptic, it’s proving to be historically accurate. – Melody Curtiss 2025

From the Book Jacket: Three women find each other in a world lost to war. In times of crisis, it is natural to believe in miracles. But to believe in each other is revolutionary.
Taking a few steps into the future, Melody Curtiss shares her version of the *Zombie Apocalypse, a perfect storm of economic collapse, global warfare and natural disasters.
*Spoiler Alert: There are no zombies in this book, only strong women.

The Kelley Robinson Stories – Magic of Lo
A Middle Grades Hero Series, similar to the Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe, and A Wrinkle in Time. Written under the pen name “Kelley Robinson” as a love story to my children. Since I used their real names, I thought mine should be fake…see how that worked out?
Still available on Amazon…

The Optimistic Voices Child’s View Storybooks – written for the charity Helping Children Worldwide. These are rewards for donors – and not “for sale” by the author or anybody else. (I do the illustrations and the copy – but I use new technologies instead of drawing.)
Child’s view storybooks are intended for use as a “read-to-me” picture book that gives adults opportunities to build resilience and empathy in the children they love, and the tools to have conversations with their young people about hard topics like poverty, life-threatening disease and medical conditions, child labor, child trafficking, and child abuse, and cultures and families that are different than what they experience.
